I’ve just been on facetime with my friend sarah. She’s in colorado, and I was meant to be visiting her back in May of this year, but our visit got postponed due to covid…damn you covid!
Anyway, we were chatting about all the foods I need to try when I do eventually get to visit her. I’ll be eating a lot while I am there lol!
So I was wondering if my readers would give me a little help.
What american foods, or foods that are widely available in the US but that we may not be able to get here in ireland, do you think I should try out?
I definitely wanna try cornbread, corndogs, jalapeno poppers from sonic, and tater tots!
Come on, whose gonna suggest foods for me to try? I’m all ears!
You need to ask Jeanne

The Colorado specialty is Rocky Mountain Oysters which I have never tried or eaten and wont. But if you are wanting a unique taste you might care to. They of course are not oysters but bison bull testicles. π³ππ±

Me either! But I was hesitant when offered some because I donβt like much seafood either, and then everyone had a good laugh on the naive nineteen year old Vermonter

I am from Mississippi in the south. If you can try boiled peanuts, pecan pie, sweet potato casserole, and shrimp or oyster po boys. They are decadent and wonderful. Have a wonderful day!

The few restaurants where we ate when the kids were small have mostly gone by the wayside, such as The Spaghetti Factory. So sad. A prime restaurant in Denver with superb food and waiters is The Cheesecake Factory in Denver, definitely 10 stars.
