My Upcoming Graduation

I recieved an email from the university, to say our parchments will be sent to us over the next 2 weeks.

We were meant to graduate back in april, but due to covid restrictions that was canceled. Now they are holding virtual ceremonies, and just sending us out our diplomas in the mail.

I’m so disappointed. I was looking forward to wearing the cap and gown, and going up on stage to recieve my diploma. I was also looking forward to getting some nice photos on the day.

Oh well. At least we’ll still get our qualification. I suppose it isnt the end of the world if we cant graduate in person. I’m just happy I get to say I now have a diploma in mental health in the community, and I can work in the field if I so choose.

    1. Its a diploma in mental health in the community, which means I can work in the community in the mental health field, I already volunteer for an organisation where there are many clients who have mental health difficulties.
