Fowc with Fandango-Vitriol

With a sudden gush of fury and vitriol
She stood, looking at the child
With bitterness in her heart
And anger on her face
She reached out
Slapped the child ferociously
Knocked her to the floor
and began to berate her
She hurled abuse at her
The little girl on her knees
Pleading with her to please stop
The more she pleaded
The more furious the woman grew
Until the little girl
Thought she was going to kill her
Just as the little girl began to give up hope
Of surviving and living to see another day
The woman stopped, just as quickly as she had started
She walked away
Disgust on her face
Telling the little girl to go to bed
And not to make a noise as she went

This is an experience I endured as a child, in the bording school I went to in Dublin, it was a night where one of the care staff abused me viciously before I went to bed.
