I got my flu shot!

Well, its over and done with now ! I did it! I had my flu shot this morning!
I was up and ready and out the door by 8:45. My appointment was at 9:15. Its an ordeal now going to the doctors surgery, there is only 2 people allowed in to the surgery at any one time.
You have to sanitise upon entry, wear a mask, go in one door and out another, social distancing is also observed, and when we got there at 9 AM we had to wait outside for a few minutes, before we could go in.
The nurse who gave me the shot was lovely. She told me it will take two weeks to build up immunity to the shot. Getting the shot was pretty painless. I asked her to tell me before she put the needle into my arm. She did, which was good, because I get a little freaked out thinking about a big needle being shoved into my arm. So I am glad she told me before actually putting it in.
We were back to our parents house by 9:45. Its good its all done now. I hope it does prevent me from getting a bad flu this year. Fingers crossed it will.

      1. Philippines. ๐Ÿ˜…โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š no, we do not usually have that here. We just take medicine when flu invades our system.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜… that is usually paracetamol for fever.
