#Share your world Oct. 5th 2020

Melanie over at sparks from a combustible mind has given us the following share your world prompt and questions to answer, so, here I go!

When was the last time you tried something new? How did that go for you?

Over lockdown I tried my hand at baking banana bread, it went well, I loved my concoction!

Whats the most sensible thing youve ever heard someone say?

I love my therapist because when I am in a panic, she always says, its ok, there is no 9 9 9! Meaning that there’s no emergency!

How old would you be if you didnt know how old you are?

I’d say I’d be young, probably around 10 or 12, maybe even younger…I never grew up!

Lastly, Ill be doing one Halloween themed question per week during October. Those who dont observe the holiday are welcome to answer or to ignore it as they wish.

Fun CREEPY Halloween Question:

Have you ever seen a fresh corpse (aka dead body)?

Yes! I have seen my grandad, when he passed away in 2015 all of his family including his six kids and all of his grandkids were with him, I’ve also seen my grandmother, I touched her and got the shivers, she was so cold to the touch.

  1. Thanks Carol Anne for Sharing Your World!! The recently deceased are very cold to the touch. I didn’t know how striking the body temperature difference was until my husband passed away and I got to see him before he was cremated. Brrrr indeed! I’m sorry about your grandma! That’s sad. Banana bread is a delicious thing and I’m glad your home baked version turned out so well! Have a great week!

    1. Thanks Melanie! I love banana bread too. It isn’t that popular here in Ireland, but since the lockdown from covid earlier this year, it has kinda taken off and now everyones making banana bread, lol. 😀
