Trapped in a cage of fear

I sit here
In my cage of fear
Trapped
Unable to breathe
Unable to feel
Nothing but fear, despair
and overwhelm
I count to 10
then I cound backwards to 1
Still there is so much fear
I cant seem to shake these feelings
I think
They are here to stay tonight
As much as I want them to leave
They refuse
So fight I must
With all of my might
For a peaceful nights sleep
