Dad had blood tests and he got the results yesterday

So last Monday my dad had bloods taken. He got a full blood panel done. He had his A1C tested, liver and kidney function, cholesterol check, iron check, thyroid check etc. all done.
He got his results yesterday!
All is good but he has low iron and high cholesterol. When he had his bloods done last, his cholesterol was at 5.5, now its at 6.5. The nurse told him to exercise more, and to drink special drinks that will lower his cholesterol. Since he lost his dog 2 months ago, he’s not exercising at much now. When Nitro and me are around, he takes nitro out walking, and now I have also started going too. He told me last night he misses having a dog of his own, I asked him why he wouldnt go walking alone, he said he just couldnt see himself walking on his own as he’d have nobody to talk to.
For his low iron, the nurse told him to eat more red meat, and vegetables that have iron in them. He’s not a great eater at the best of times, he’s picky about what he will eat, and he only likes very plain food, so its hard to cook for him.
He’s having the bloods repeated again in 3 months to see if the cholesterol has come down and to see if his iron level has gone up. Hopefully it will have gone up by then, if he follows the instructions he was given.
