Well, an engineer came out to my house this morning, to try to resolve my ongoing issue that I am having where I am unable to watch my recorded shows, I use an app on my phone to watch them as I am unable to access them on the box because of not being able to see what I am doing. Well, the app isnt working, there is some issue with it, the technician who I spoke to on the phone said that there was an update recently and it has caused major issues. The engineer came out, he checked all my settings, and it looked like everything was working fine. He did have to fix my two tv’s, as the channel had switched over, and there was no signal as it was on the wrong channel. So he did that, and left. So then I rang back sky, and I spoke to another technician, who said he’d contact the team who are looking after the app and when they get back in touch he’s going to call me. I am a bit miffed, I really want to be able to record, well I can record, but I want to be able to watch them back, I think I should get a discount now as I am not able to do that, and I’m paying enough money per month, this issue is ongoing since I got sky installed back in febuary. Its been resolved twice, but each time after a day or two the recordings stopped working again. At least I can watch the tv now though in real time. That is the one positive thing from the engineers visit today.
