I’ve decided to just get off my ass and exercise and stop procrastinating. I’m totally so good at procrastinating about it lol. I need to just set my mind to it and go for it. I’ve decided that starting tomorrow morning I’m gonna just do it! Just do it is gonna be my new motto!
So starting tomorrow morning I’ve decided to do 30 minutes each day on the treadmill. I am going to break it into 10 minute incraments, since I find it boring just walking for 30 minutes straight. So, I will do 10 minutes in the morning, 10 mins in the afternoon and another 10 in the evening. If I dont start exercising as I lose the weight, I’m going to be left with a lot of lose skin that is sagging and I dont want that. Plus, its good for me so I need to just go do it!
As I become fitter I’ll up my time, from 30 mins to 40 then 50 and finally an hour. I’ll probably end up doing 3 20 minute workouts eventually.
I am excited to see how this goes. If anyone wants to help motivate me, feel free, I can do with some morral support, and encouragement. It is helpful to be accountible to friends and blog buddies.

Just set times and make a habit out of it. Everyone is different on how they do it. I have to do my exercise first thing in the morning or I will never do it, so I do it and itโs done

I thought about doing it first thing in the morning, how long do you walk for in the morning? Do you walk on a treadmill or do you go out walking or what

I do an hour each morning on the elliptical. Then throughout the day I take walks to get my 7 miles of walking in. I walk on my lunch hour and after work

An hour on the elliptical? Oh my goodness you must be really fit, I canโt even go on the elliptical Iโm not fit enough I tried before and I found it so difficult I have to stop after two or three minutes

Well when I first started I could only do ten minutes you just have to work yourself up on time like you mentioned

Yeah I guess so. Well actually I think I might change my plan and actually do my half hour in the morning like you do. It might work out better because if I say Iโm going to do 10 minutes and then I get distracted during the day and forget there goes my plan so I think I will do it early in the morning each morning when I first wake up

Yes start with a plan!! Schedule it in! I break up my workouts as well! I do my yoga outside in the morning and then cardio and strength train before dinner. You got this๐ช๐ผ

Changed my mind, Iโm going to do the half hour on the treadmill in the morning time because if I do it in the morning Iโm more likely to stick to the plan if I break it up Iโm more likely to get distracted and not do the exercise at all

I think itโll be too early in the morning to call anyone but I will listen to the radio I think or maybe I will read a chapter of my book while I walk

I hope it’s going well for you, I would suggest HIIE or high intensity intermittent exercise if cardio is the route you want to take. HIIE is just fitness jargon for sprint intervals, which research has shown to improve cardiovascular fitness and reduce greater amounts of body fat than steady state cardio. Regardless I wish you the best!
