I got the exercise bug going on!

I’ve decided to just get off my ass and exercise and stop procrastinating. I’m totally so good at procrastinating about it lol. I need to just set my mind to it and go for it. I’ve decided that starting tomorrow morning I’m gonna just do it! Just do it is gonna be my new motto!

So starting tomorrow morning I’ve decided to do 30 minutes each day on the treadmill. I am going to break it into 10 minute incraments, since I find it boring just walking for 30 minutes straight. So, I will do 10 minutes in the morning, 10 mins in the afternoon and another 10 in the evening. If I dont start exercising as I lose the weight, I’m going to be left with a lot of lose skin that is sagging and I dont want that. Plus, its good for me so I need to just go do it!

As I become fitter I’ll up my time, from 30 mins to 40 then 50 and finally an hour. I’ll probably end up doing 3 20 minute workouts eventually.

I am excited to see how this goes. If anyone wants to help motivate me, feel free, I can do with some morral support, and encouragement. It is helpful to be accountible to friends and blog buddies.

  1. Just set times and make a habit out of it. Everyone is different on how they do it. I have to do my exercise first thing in the morning or I will never do it, so I do it and itโ€™s done

      1. I do an hour each morning on the elliptical. Then throughout the day I take walks to get my 7 miles of walking in. I walk on my lunch hour and after work

      2. An hour on the elliptical? Oh my goodness you must be really fit, I canโ€™t even go on the elliptical Iโ€™m not fit enough I tried before and I found it so difficult I have to stop after two or three minutes


      3. Yeah I guess so. Well actually I think I might change my plan and actually do my half hour in the morning like you do. It might work out better because if I say Iโ€™m going to do 10 minutes and then I get distracted during the day and forget there goes my plan so I think I will do it early in the morning each morning when I first wake up


    1. Changed my mind, Iโ€™m going to do the half hour on the treadmill in the morning time because if I do it in the morning Iโ€™m more likely to stick to the plan if I break it up Iโ€™m more likely to get distracted and not do the exercise at all

  2. I hope it’s going well for you, I would suggest HIIE or high intensity intermittent exercise if cardio is the route you want to take. HIIE is just fitness jargon for sprint intervals, which research has shown to improve cardiovascular fitness and reduce greater amounts of body fat than steady state cardio. Regardless I wish you the best!
