My aunt has passed away

I just got the call, my aunt passed away this evening at 6:30.
She only lasted for 3.5 hours after they switched off the monitors and gave her a morphine pump.
She’s at peace now. She’s with her youngest daughter, where she wanted to be. Her daughter who phoned me said she wouldnt have gotten any better, she gave up after her daughter alison died.
She’d been in and out of hospital for the past 12 months, numerous times, and each time she’d go in, she’d discharge herself, saying she wanted to be at home.
On sunday her legs went from under her, she had had some trouble with her legs for a while, they’d been swelling up and leaking fluid and on Sunday they gave out, and it was then that her husband called an ambulance, but she asked him to do it. She knew. She wanted to go in to hospital.
Her daughter carol who phoned me said she died peacefully and in no pain, and all of her immediate family were allowed to be in the room despite the covid restrictions. I am happy they could all be there with her at the end.
We are all devastated as you can imagine, this has knocked us all for six.
Please continue to send prayers and positivity as we need it right now, and so do her family.
Thanks guys, I love and appreciate you all so very much.
