My friend norma

My friend Norma came over yesterday afternoon. She hasnt been doing great mentally this past weekend, so I offered to help her by asking her to come over and spend a few hours with me.
We had fun, we didnt get up to much, we just hung out and chatted, but it was nice.
She has some mental illnesses, mainly anxiety and depression, and she also hears voices but its a little psychosis, well that is what she’s been diagnosed with anyway.
She’s also blind, so life can be tough for her.
I’m glad I was able to support her as she’s always very supportive to me as well.
Good friends are so important. I’ve known her for years, as we went to the same bording school as kids.

  1. I find friendships hard to maintain because I do go down the depressive rabbit holes and vanish for chunk of time and people just lose patience waiting for me to emerge.
I envy what you share with your friend. ❤
