Outing to Kinsale with my mom

My mom and me went out for the afternoon, we went to kinsale, a local tourist town outside the city.
we took the bus there, it was a 50 minute bus journey to get there.
When we got there we got fish and chips, not chips as in the kind you eat with dip, these were fries, but we call them chips in ireland, so we got fish and chips, and we sat in the park eating them.
Afterwords we walked for a little while, walked around the town, before coming back and stopping off for icecream.
We each got a 99, its an icecream cone with a chocolate flake in it, cadburys flake bar on top, soft serve ice cream and a cone. It was so yummy.
Then we decided we’d go in the casino. I only gambled 6 euro on the slot machines, but I won 10 euro. Mom didnt win but she had fun all the same. We were only in there for about 15 to 20 minutes.
When we came out of the casino we went back and sat in the park for a while longer. It turned out to be really sunny today, I got a few pics which I took on the harbour.
We got a bus back home and its now compulsory on public transport here to wear a mask, so we had ours, also social distancing is in place, so the bus driver would only allow 22 people on the bus, which is a lot less than there would be normally on it.
It was a lovely day out, I am so glad I went. It really lifted my mood. I feel much, much better now that I got out of the house today for a while.
