This question is for my US readers!

  1. Had a socially- distanced fireworks party with neighbors in the street. The sweetest silver lining from COVID19 has been getting to know the neighbors better.

  2. I worked over night and didn’t complain. ๐Ÿ˜› I am not American nor am I a firework person like at all. Some of it is because of my noise sensitivity and the other part is I just find them boring. :/ 4th of July like any holiday is just another excuse to party and nothing more.

      1. Nice, same here! As a person who has really bad social anxiety and works in retail, the night shift is most ideal for me. I tried the day shift for over a year and hated it. It was just too busy with the job itself and trying to deal with customers etc. At night they prioritize our job and less customers so it is much better and more focused. ๐Ÿ™‚
