Bee’s Poem of the Day: Death

Hello dear readers, how are you? I hope you and yours are well and if not that you have all the resources you need to get through your challenge.
Yesterday, I told you about the documentary “Break Free: Two people. Two years. One Dream”. There was one sombre moment in this film. The couple adopted a puppy, but it got eaten by crocodiles. They grieve deeply for the animal which the people they stay with do not understand.

The explanation the Africans gave was: “There is no point in crying. Death is everywhere. You might as well just celebrate the life of those who depart.”. And I wonder if that is the reason why the people of Africa seem so happy.

death is everywhere
if we accept it or not
watch the seedling grow

Happy Wednesday despite everything!

(I also share these poems on “The Bee Creates)
