Bee’s Poem of the Day: Back to the Beach

Hello out there, all you lovely people. How are you today? Are you looking forward to the new week? I hope you’ll be fine and can find some good experiences too.

Last Wednesday we managed to go to the beach again for our daily walk. I don’t usually go out at the moment because I am undergoing chemotherapy. This means my immune system is weakened, and I can more easily catch the virus.

But we love the beach, and so we decided to get up early and beat “the masses” to it. At 5 AM we were there and could see a beautiful sunrise. It was lovely warm, and quiet. No one there but a jogger far away and another dog walker who decided on the other direction than us. We enjoyed it.

Maybe we even manage this more often. It would be nice.

feeling light breezes
waves roll slowly onto beach
dog watches the birds

Happy Friday to you all despite everything!

(I also publish these poems on my Weebly blog)
