Bee’s Poem of the Day: Extremes

Hello out there, please come in, and have a lovely cuppa of your favourite cold or hot beverage. (Yes, you can drink cold beverages from cups too). Here in North Norfolk summer has arrived with a vengeance. We have temperatures of around 30C (86F).

I am not a huge fan of heat, but I don’t mind it either. Unless we have a hosepipe ban. Then our vegetables suffer, and I’m not too fond of that. What I am worried about though is the fact that it changes so fast. One day we have temperatures between 15-20C (59-68F) and the next around 30C (86F). It is crazy.

I can’t remember to have had these sort of jumps when I was young in the 70s’ and 80s’. But maybe my memory does betray me. Do you like it hot? And what do you think about these crazy temperature jumps?

There is sun and rain
So much more extreme than ever
Many look at sky

Happy Saturday despite everything.
