Hello out there, all you lovely people. You rock! Please never forget that.
Can you remember many moons ago when Anastacia sang: “Am sick and tired of always being sick and tired!”? Even though the lyrics do not directly say it, she wrote the song after being diagnosed with breast cancer and going through surgery and radiotherapy.
I am thinking a lot about this song recently even though I am more tired than sick. Currently, I am on the second lot of chemotherapy so it might get worse. Still, even so, I can fully relate to this sentence. You can’t always keep up the good mood. You have your down days, and that’s ok.
No matter what you are fighting at the moment ~ bad mental health, money problems, cancer… ~ give yourself some slack and allow yourself to feel the tiredness of struggling. My experience is that you’ll find a solution faster when you allow yourself to feel the so-called “negative” emotions too.
I know, I might not sound like that usually. I do try to stay upbeat and keep the positive in mind. But sometimes when I go to bed or just after waking up, I do ask myself what I have done to get this bl…. dis-ease too. It goes fast as I practise gratefulness daily. It is such a relief to feel in my down emotions that there is so much to be grateful for. And it does change the sick & tired to grateful and hopeful at least.
feel my good luck.
does change with our mind.
Attitude can do so much.
Just try it out when life does suck.
Happy Thursday to you all despite everything!
