Rest and read

I wake from sleep
Eyes open up wide
A very good morning
Another day
The start of another week
Oh how I love Sundays
I can lay here
Rest
No need to run around
All I have to do
Is rest in my comfy bed
Read, and rest

  1. This is a beautiful poem. Or at least I read as poem and it is lovely. I love being in my bed on Sunday mornings and reading. It is now 3:33 in morning here in Seattle and I am at work. I don’t get off work till 8:30 in morning; Seattle time. When I get home from work I plan on resting and reading in bed as that is something I enjoy doing. I hope you have restful Sunday ahead of you.
