Today is my long time partner jess’s birthday. I havent seen jess in a long time, since 2013 actually.
She is in a residential psych facility in Illinois.
She’s been there since 2015.
She’s 42 today.
I slept well last night. I woke a few times for a brief period but I didnt stay up.
I finally got up at 5:30. I had to see to Nitro, who was snuggled up next to me on the bed, until he got hungry and jumped down.
I fed him and let him out. I hopped in the shower then. I love showering first thing in the morning. Makes you feel so good.
My mom and sister are coming over later on this morning. I think my niece and nephew are also coming over. Mom is going to clean the yard, and do a few other bits around the house for me.
I am thinking of just going back to their house today and staying there until monday, this weekend is a bank holiday weekend here in ireland. We’re hoping to have a barbecue on Saturday for my sis’s birthday.
I dont know yet, I may go with mom today, or I may wait until tomorrow. Other than that, i have no plans today. the sun is shining again this morning, it is supposed to get up to 20 degrees C today. I hope it does.
