Bee’s Poem of the Day: Non-Fiction?

Hello out there and a happy Monday to you all despite everything. Are you reading non-fiction books? I used to read biographies as a teenager and books about Social work, Psychology and Medicine while studying social work. After that my interest lapsed.

I hid in fantasy, crime and sci-fi fiction besides a self-improvement book here and there. However, when I recently discovered audiobooks I realised that listening to non-fiction books is very entertaining. I enjoyed listening to David Attenborough’s “Life on Earth” and currently “Cosmic Quest” a BBC series about Astronomy. There is so much to learn and so little time πŸ™‚

now and then.

Thinking about it, it might be more an interest in science rather than in general non-fiction. Never mind. πŸ™‚

  1. I used to read non-fiction too until I want to get lost into some other world created by fiction writers. 😁 And same here, I just have self-help books from time to time… more of articles, actually. Self-help arricles. πŸ™‚ I’ve never tried audiobooks though, maybe one of these days! Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

  2. My therapist suggested that I quit reading non-fiction. I always picked dark subject matter than would affect me. I still love a good memoir but these days, if I read anything it is fictional.
