  1. I fear for my child and elderly family members, of course. But I am so tired of living in fear of this virus I almost wish I’d just get it already and let natural selection decide what happens. It sounds awful, I know, but living with an anxiety disorder, then this virus hanging over my head, it’s made difficult living damn near torturesome. I would not want to spread it to anyone else, but to just get it over with would be a relief, considering they are saying it’s a mou getatter of ‘when, not if’ you get it.
The numbers backing that statement up are terrifying.

      1. That is how it was at first when it started. Now it seems to have mutated and it goes for kids, young, old, sick, healthy…we’ve had one child death so far and several others sick from newborn to age 6. It’s scary.

    1. It’s not totally natural selection, we have choices, not saying those choices will be honored either, but we should seek out knowledge. I’m 81 but in reasonably good health still, it’s about choice, no smoking, no pork, always very moderate with anything alcohol, over doing it at times, but not often. This post is about choices in severe cases, a good bit of information for those of us of senior age: To counter high volume of panic news, I’ve posted a most encouraging video explaining; “People don’t die of influenza, they die of chronic vitamin C deficiency – view and save lives now https://wp.me/p2VBZ8-35X

  2. I’m not too worried about it for myself, I’m virtually certain to get it with my job at an “essential” business dealing with possibly sick customers all day. I am worried about what it will do to the world as a whole, a to of people are going to get really sick and some of them are going to die.

  3. I am not scared over it but I am certainly cautious. We have been on lock down for a week here so really I o oy leave to go to the store, when needed. What scares me I are the people not listening and putting our lives at risk because they feel invincible.

      1. They don’t understand that their actions affect everyone around them. They should understand unless they are complete morons. It angers me

  4. This whole experience has made us anxious.

This explanation was written by a doctor in the Midlands in England and elaborates on why some people get mild symptoms while others become critically ill: https://myhomefarm.co.uk/coronavirus-and-viral-load

It’s also got a lot of helpful advice for families that are self-isolating.

I’ve been following all the news, updates and advice, but no one has really been focusing on viral load, which is strange because it makes a lot of sense.

  5. I’m feeling really angry, as the more I read about it the more I realize that such a virus is too good to be true. So, I wonder where did it came from! And then I think about all people and families affected by it and it makes me sad. And I think about the future, and hope that we will all go through this with as little damage as possible. I believe in people and in togetherness, and this …makes me hopeful.
