  1. Not weird but I ate vegetable that I hated all my life after my moms funeral coz in the chaos everyone had forgotten that I dont eat that particular vegetable.I still remember how I ate it with tears in my eyes.😊

  2. I think it was the Viennese Schnitzel my sister-in-law cooked once… for some reason, she thought the breadcrumb coating had to be extra spicy and… fat… for sure, not a Viennese Schnitzel (my Viennese heart didn’t know whether it shall laugh hysterically or cry desperately).

  3. My mother-in-law’s kidney surprise which is basically lamb’s kidneys boiled in a tin of tomatoes. It is disgusting! Sadly like all of her cooking which I claim should carry a government health warning.

      1. Veal kidneys gently cooked with mustard sauce are a French classic and far removed from my mother-in-law’s kidney surprise! However, offal isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

  4. So… my ex was making dinner. He wanted to make lime chicken. He didn’t have any limes… so he used lime jello. Yep… it was nasty. Lime colored chicken with a sweet gelatinous texture. 😬 Oh, and the rice he made to go with it… he wanted that to be lime flavored as well. 🙄. After one bite, I had no problem telling my kids that they did not have to eat their dinner that night.
