Novas random word of the day, Remnant

Sitting here alone

Thoughts form

I think about the day

Remnants of conversations I’ve had

With friends

Loved ones

Acquaintances

As I sit here thinking

Its hard to piece things together

Dissociation makes it hard but

I continue to try

Whose been out?

Which one of us?

Not me, that’s for sure

Other insiders give some input

Lots of remnants

Of conversations

How to figure out

Where to go from here?

What is important

and what isn’t?

It feels too hard

For right now

In this very moment

I quieten my thoughts

Lie down

And try hard

To sleep

My thoughts can wait

I think

As tiredness overtakes me

And I nod off
