#Weekend coffee share, the goings on of Carol anne!

I am joining in with eclectic allie’s weekend coffee share this week!

Allie says:

Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new)!

Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?

All are welcome! Just add your link to the Linky-List, and be sure to visit others and join in their conversations! The link will be open from Friday August 2nd at 7 am (Pacific Time) until Monday August 5th at 7 pm (Pacific Time) to give us a good range of “weekend”!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that its now Monday morning here, its 2:48 AM. I am not sleeping, but you all already knew that from an earlier post! I would tell you that I’ve been catching up on blogs, and it was a lot of fun to read some old posts and be able to say I did that!

I would also tell you that I talked to my partner tonight on the phone! That was really lovely! We dont get to talk often, mainly because she lives in a psychiatric residential facility, and when you call sometimes they dont answer the phone, so its rare that we actually do get to talk. Tonight we did, and it was a special moment!

I’d also tell you that I am taking Nitro to the vet this coming week, on Friday. He has to get his yearly shots, and his flea and worming treatment. I also need to talk to the vet about a little lump on his ear, which looks like a little wart, or like he got bitten by something! I hope thats all it is!

I’d also tell you that my mom and sister are coming home from their camping trip tomorrow! They had a good time, but the weather wasnt great for them. They made the most of it though. They still had fun, and enjoyed their time camping.

If we were drinking coffee, I’d tell you that I have a lot of appointments this coming week. I see my mentor, I see dr. Barry as well. I also will have a phone check in with my CPN.

I’d also tell you that on friday, I get my current nails off, and new ones on! I am going to go for purple this time I think. Its shilac I am getting done. Of course I will be posting photos of them when they are done!

I am also getting some waxing done, I have to get it done at least once every 3 weeks, its awful to have so much hair! I am getting my brows, and lip and chin waxed!

Well thats it for this coffee share weekend! What did you all do this weekend?

  1. Nice! I love purple especially.

Welp, I dealt with that blog stealer, as you know, and I tried to help others too. I also had work to do from my side job. I also had to listen to one of my audio books and approve it… now we wait for the site to hopefully approve both of my completed books!

I tried to stay off my hurt foot. But i cut my hand making healthy food, ouch! It actually seems okay now. My foot still hurts though. 😢

I started a new book ~ Since You’ve Been Gone. I like it so far. I’ll read more before bed. 🙂

    1. What books? You wrote some books? When will they be available? On audible is it? I will buy them! I love books and reading and reviewing them! I hope your foot feels better soon!

      1. Thank you! Yes, I’ve written a bunch! They are all on Kindle right now, but I hope to have two available as audio very soon! 😀❤️

      2. Thanks! My Paula books are short fiction and poetry. My Anna books are spicy romance. I have lots more planned too!

  2. I am so so happy that you could finally talk to Jess. You two must miss each other terribly, I can imagine. It sounds like you’ll have a lot of support this week when Eileen’s away, from other people from your treatment team. I hope it will help you to get through this time.
