tygpress and my blog?

So my blog, like many of yours, is on that site, tygpress!
Does anyone know how we can get them to stop posting our blog material?
Or have it taken down from there site?
I am annoyed that mine ended up on there. What interest have they in a personal blog? With personal info about my family, life etc on it?
I just thought they were harvisters?
Does it mean they are just collecting info? But doing nothing with it?
I am confused!
Anyone get theirs taken down yet?

  2. It’s a harvester blog meaning a bot will be crawling our website and feeding it there.
    I am affected like many others and I now plan to password protect most of my posts, so I am currently on a blogging break and no posts are planed till I have been through all my posts.

    There have been some bloggers trying to take it down, but they are not getting any luck with that to put the story short. WordPress are not doing anything about it either.

      1. I have already posted a few public posts recently. So updates there to keep my comment from being too long here.
        I am not posting further until further notice, which I don’t know when that will be while I do some blogging maintenance.
        When I am back and sorted, a public post will say so and what is happening next and how to go about getting a password for my protected posts.
        People that I communicate with, like you for example, are welcome to submit an email for password. But please do not submit any request yet. Wait until a post update to tell you can.
        People who I communicate with, will have no problems getting a password. But ones I don’t know, may not get it. It won’t be a simple ask for it. I will need to know some more things. So some people who I don’t communicate with to a certain extent, will not likely get the password. It’s only going to a trusted group of quite regulars, whether via mine, or their blog.
        Odd few posts will be public. But a majority password protected. Xx

      5. Thanks. I am going to get off to bed, now. Determined I won’t be distracted tonight with that harvester website, as I have had some late nights working through my posts. I still have way to go. But that’s another day. Goodnight. X
