3 things, pl 116

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge. Every day at 10PM (PST) I will post three seemingly unconnected things that will, hopefully, ignite your muse. You
don’t have to use all three things if you don’t want to. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything. Simply read the prompt, see where
your muse takes you, and bring us along for the ride. Use 3TC as a tag if you’d like and link back to this prompt, or post your link in the comments below so others can find you.

Happy Writing!
😀

Today’s prompt: square, train, grasshopper

******

Little grasshopper

So small

But so agile

Hops to and fro

Irritating he can be

To me

I wonder as I watch him go

Will he bite?

Hope he doesnt reach me

Or get on me

I am so nervous of bugs

That I’d freak out

Well, heres hoping

I dont have to find out

If he likes the taste of blood

Heres hoping

He’ll hop away

Go somewhere else

Into a square hole maybe?

I walk to where I am bording my train

Still thinking about the walk I took

In the woods

And the little grasshopper I saw in the grass

  1. Dear Carol Anne – You already know I went to law school. Well, I hope you won’t be surprised to hear that I am a retired lawyer. And I do hope you know I care about you – and I am going to give you some important legal advice because I do care about you – and do NOT want you to get into any legal trouble. So, here goes:

When you like an internet site, and want to share it with your readers, you need to, first up, give them the exact site: like this – YOUR site today is –

    https://therapybits.com/2019/06/10/3-things-pl-116/

That’s the URL for YOUR place today where I am reading.

The site you read, and liked so much you want to share it each day, is –

    https://lightmotifs.wordpress.com/2019/06/09/three-things-challenge-pl116/

I’m going to tell you more about this very important legal thing in the next reply, as I have run out of space. TS

  2. PART TWO OF TS REPLY:

The site you read, and liked so much you want to share it each day, is –

You, Carol Anne, OWN what you write. In law, this ownership is called “copyright”.

    Lightmotifs OWNS what she/he/they wrote.

So you can NOT just copy it on your blog. First, tell people that they can go to the Lightmotifs site – give your readers the URL – and do NOT say you wrote it – though it would be lovely to say you really like what Lightmotifs does every day and you are participating in that excellent brain exercise Lightmotifs shares with their readers every day.

So everyone will be happy and no one will be mad!

Please do not hesitate to let me know if this does not make sense or if you want to talk about it.

Many hugs and sweet dreams – TS

    1. Oh I see what you mean now TS, that’s okay, she allows for us to copy the part of the prompt which has the rules in it. But yes, I see what you mean about people being mad if you just copy direct from their site to yours so in the future I will link to it instead XXX
