I stand out from the crowd because…

I am very quirky. I dont follow norms. I do my own thing. I am unique. I am not a follower I dont do things just to do them, just because everyone else does them. Thats not me, its not who I am. I like to be different. Different is good. It works for me. Being different means i can be true to myself…true to who I am as a person.

I guess you could say my disability makes me stand out, because I am blind, I stand out, but I dont agree. Blindness is not a unique trait, there are many blind people in the world, I guess how I handle it, could be said that I handle it better or differently than some other blind people I know.
