Bee’s Poem of the Day ~ At Least We Tried…

So, it’s World Poetry Day and I nearly missed it. What better to celebrate it than to create a poem. Are you with me????

And to honour those who versed before me and much better than I,ย  I use the first line by *T.S. Eliot from “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock

At least we tried…

Let us go then, you and I,*
deeper into the words
that connect us.
Let us explore
each other’s worlds
with our poetry’s metaphors.
Will you understand?
Will I understand?
It matters not.
At least
we tried…

May you have a poetic day!!!!
