Panicked dog?

Nitro is so agitated! He’s really panicking tonight! Panting and shaking like a leaf. I thought it was due to us eating, he started it around the time we were having food. But he’s still going! And we’ve all finished ages ago! He’s standing by my bed now panting and nudging me! I am wondering is it because a storm is coming and he can sense it? I really dont know what is wrong with him. I tried to let him out but he wont go out! He is refusing to come when I call him! Im just not sure whats up with him!

  1. I’m glad to hear he is better now, but yes, such situations are always worrying, I always freak out when my Misha is so shaky and I don’t know how to help him and what he’s afraid of. That’s when I really wish I could understand animals.

  2. I know when the weather is about to take a turn cos our cats start acting bonkers, even without thunder or anything.

Dogs of many breeds are known to be super sensitive to storms, that’s why they sell these soothing ‘thunder vests’ for the pup set. I don’t have dogs so I can’t attest to their effectiveness but might be something to consider, I am sure a similar product is sold where you are. Calm pooch, calm dog mom, calm is good ๐Ÿ™‚
