30 day music challenge, day 1

I decided to do this 30 days of music challenge, because, well, I love music! So here goes, music is great, and this is going to be fun!

Day One: A song you like with a color in the title

A great song from a fabulous irish band I love!

  1. hi nice blog. hope you’re having a nice new month over there and all is well in Ireland, both South and Northern Ireland and hoping storm damage there wasn’t severe. We had so barely any news but i caught a snatch of floods info before net went down. It must have been around this time last year that It looked darn bad at the time by the coast. but I’m in Midlands not even getting regional flood news here either. News is ditched. Enjoyed listening to the folk tune you shared. I’m quite interested in learning more about them (sounds American Irish, but could be wrong and I thought they were authentic Irish folk band. I’ll spare them some time maybe another day). Enjoyed reading your recipe too but unable to get some ingredients easily here in England and food standards and EU regulations are being kaputted making a lot of foodstuffs dangerous to our health. Nevermind, my generation remember the 70s/80s and readying for the tough times ahead we Europeans (others here and us mixedEnglish/British) are likely to face with Brexit ahead of us. I didn’t mean to bring a downer to your post by the way and with a conversation piece in discussion like this no wonder i don’t often get party invitations hey 😉 Nevermind, I’m not really up to it yet. At least I made it to a bloglink from Trina’s linkparty. I’m twittering a music a day to join in with the challenge. Have a great weekend. Enjoyed reading and hope to visit your blog again sometime. Cheers.

    1. Hi Colette, thanks for your comment. Appreciate it. The recipes I share I get from my friend who lives in the USA, so they’re not UK-based or Irish or anything she writes them out and send them to me every day and then I post them on the blog. I haven’t really tried many of them myself either. Yeah we’re all okay after the storms, weather ‘s not too bad here at the moment thank God, not sure about the music weather there traditional Irish or Irish American not sure but you can google it I’m sure and find out, thanks for visiting again hope you will visit again soon XX Carol anne
