I survived the storm!

So the storm came last night, and now its gone. And we survived it!
I actually slept well! I didnt think I would! But when it came, I was still up. I stayed up for about an hour, then I went to bed.
The winds were really severe, and the rain fell hard, but we’re all ok, and safe.
Now its a new day and skies are blue! It looks like we’ll get more rain today though. We’re over the worst of it though so thats good.
I am going volunteering this afternoon. Trish who works with me said she’d pick me up around 2 PM. Life goes on!
