Weight loss, success on the scales!

I am very happy. I had my weigh in and I managed to lose half a pound this week, I know that doesnt seem like much but to me its huge. I’ve been struggling for the past two weeks, I was up both weeks, so to actually go in and be down any amount is huge progress. And I am super excited. I am very very happy with the result I got tonight.
Just the fact that I now know what to do to get a loss on the scales, is huge.
I am very proud of my achievement and I hope I can continue my success for the next couple of weeks. There are only 13 weeks until christmas, if I lost a pound a week I’d be almost down another stone by then!
I came home and I cooked fish, a baked potato and some veggies. I just ate it and it was soo good.
I cant go to bed for an hour or so until my food digests, so I think I’ll go read for a while. I think I will sleep well tonight, I’m actually quite tired.
So I’ll say good night and if I wake up in the night I may come back online for a while to do emails or blog.

  1. Congratulations on your success! I have come across quite a few people this week saying that they hit a weight loss plateau. Maybe its the cold weather trying to keep us insulated for the winter : ). But, in the event that it is not the weather, something people may be over-looking is the fact that you must recalculate your daily calorie requirements. Once you lose a certain amount of weight, you must recalculate your daily calorie needs to continue losing weight. Otherwise, you will eventually be eating to maintain your current weight, not eating to continue losing more weight. Just a thought…I hope it helps – Thanks – Lyn

  2. There is an easier way to lose weight, it is called veganism. I created a diet I am still testing called the Growing Vegan Diet. I lost over 80 pounds in 6 month and am almost diabetes free, now. I got off of insulin in 8 days and lost neuropathy in the same amount of days on it. I write about it on a weekly column on my website on here. It is under Writing>Articles>Growing Vegan Diet Column, in my top navigation.
