What have you ever spent money on that you later regretted?
I think my anser would have to be junk food, I bought so much of it over the years, and now that I am losing weight, I regret having wasted so much money on it.
Cant look back though, I just have to look to the future and hope that that time is now behind me!

I quite recently bought myself a Swedish speech synthesiser, actually an updated version of the one I’ve been using before and then it turned out something is very wrong with it and it actualy mad my computer crash. It actually took me some time to discover that it was it what caused the crash, it was quite weird, I wouldn’t think such a simple programme can send everything else to hell. Luckily I was able to get my money back, it was complete shit.

I’ve spent money on lots of things I later regretted. Most recently a journaling program for on my PC which I couldn’t use.
By the way, your comments landed in my spam folder too. I just unspammed them all. I hope you should be fine leaving comments from now on.

I am sure I have spent buckets of money that I later regretted, but at the time I usually spent it to help out someone who made ugly handmade things or rather poor-quality homemade food etc., but who seemed to need the support, so I would buy them and be nice but not really want the items or food, which I usually gave away to someone who would appreciate it.

Sometimes I just feel sorry for people, so I try to help them out a little. I also go to pretty much every other tarot reader in my town, to meet them and to see what they are up to, and some were decent, which was good to know, and some were sort of not exactly what I wanted. There is only one reader in our town who seems like a complete scam artist, with many bad reviews on yelp and also a lot of fake-good reviews that were removed by the site, and I didn’t go to that person, and that’s okay. People sometimes just do what they have to do to get by–

Yes! I am glad that site removed the fake reviews! I also feel sorry for people a lot. Then some people take advantage of my good nature which I hate!

It’s too bad. I think people need to be decent to others and to themselves, and not be jerks. To me, there’s nothing gained by being a jerk or a crook or something intentionally bad to others–or even bad to ourselves. If I stole money or something, I would feel crappy, so it would not be worth it to me. It would be a different question if I were starving and took some cheese or something, but that wouldn’t be being cruel, just surviving. Life is complicated sometimes!

Do you know if liz still wanted me to post that story or if I scared her off…? I wasn’t trying to be insulting or anything but just to give it an extra trigger warning–
