outing this weekend

i decied to write a little about saturday about our outing, to take my mind off of the anxiety.
saturday was great. mom and me went with my aunt moms sister, to get her groceries, then we went back to her house for some lunch. we had a lovely lunch and sat chatting for a while.
at around 2 pm we drove to the garden centre, we had a look around at all the flowers and other bits they sold, then we sat and had something to drink and chatted some more.
moms other sister rang, and we invited her to come out to us. she had her 3 grandkids, she was babysitting them. she said if we didnt mind th e kids being with her, herself and her husband would come out to us.
so they did. we stayed in the garden centre until around 5 PM. the kids played in the play area. at around 5 PM we drove to a nearby lake, we sat on the grass and took in the sun. the kids played by the water. they were skipping stones and dipping their feet in the water. we sat there for about an hour.
then we went back to my aunts house, well mom and me did, my other aunt the one who was babysitting took the kids to drop them all back home.
we had food at my aunts and then went to my uncles house, thats their brother. i was shattered though and so we didnt stay too long, my mom was tired too. we could barely keep our eyes open, as you know I hadnt slept at all well on friday night. we went home at around 11 and went straight to bed.
and thats pretty much where I’ve been since then. i just havent felt good today. I’ve had a lot of anxiety and depressive thoughts. its been horrible.
but im glad i went out on saturday, it was a nice day out.

  1. I can really relate to this post Carol Anne. So much anxiety and darkness and depressive thoughts inside but you still go out with friends and family “appearing” as if all is normal. And on the outside, to everyone else, you look and sound normal but deep down inside you know that’s not how you feel but you don’t want to admit that.
