today is a cooler day

today its cooler here, its about 22 c. so a lot cooler than it has been the past few weeks. the weather forecast said we werent supposed to get rain for another 10 days, but I think we might get some tonight.
its nice to see some cooler temps. it still feels nice though. and we’re still able to sit outside if we want. we havent been doing that though. moms busy with her flowers, she loves watering them and fixing them arranging them and stuff.
my dad made burgers for lunch, we didnt feel like eating much, so we just had a burger each, and we left some chicken out to do on the bbq this evening. I’m never hungry in this kinda weather.
My sister texted, she’s having a ball in spain. she sent me a video of my niece scubadiving, she’s also sent a lot of photos during the time she’s been over there.
mom and me decided we’d definitely go to kinsale tomorrow. we looked at going to either crosshaven or blarney but we settled on kinsale. I priced how much it would be to get into blarney castle and gardens, its 18 euro for one adult, I’d be free as people with special needs go free. I think 18 euro is a lot though just to walk around, we wouldnt be trying to kiss the blarney stone as mom said you have to climb a bunch of steps and then you have to hang upside down over the stone to kiss it, no thanks, I dont think so. Not for me.
So kinsale it is for us. A picnic lunch, walk around the town, maybe a drink or two as well.

  1. It makes my heart feel light and my face smile when I hear about the things you’re doing with your mom. I think that God has healed much that seemed to be unhealable when I first started following this blog! Yay! xxx

  2. I kissed the Blarney Stone when I visited on one of my trips, but I don’t remember what I was thinking of when I did. They had handles to hold on to when you leaned backwards, so it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Weird, though, I’ll admit…
