bbq and other stuff on a sunday

so we had a bbq. well half a bbq lol.
our bbq was new, and wouldnt really work. mom lit it at 12:30 and at 1 PM it still wasnt super hot. She tried to bbq burgers but in the end she couldnt, she had to use the grill to do them.
she did do the ribs on it, but we’d already half done them in the oven, so we were really only heating them up. they were so yummy though.
we did manage to do the sausages on the BBQ. it was a cheap bbq though so mom said it was no wonder it wouldnt work.
we ate around 1:30. mom had also made a low fat dessert since I was eating with them. we had merang and strawberries, with chocolate sauce and cream. i didnt have whipped cream though, i had the one that you spray it comes out of a tin.
it was a nice lunch. after lunch I got ready and mom came with me to my house. i was going to stay at my parents until tomorrow, until I realised I had a ton of frozen food to take home, and I have therapy in the morning and I couldnt carry food, clothes, and nitro to therapy with me. So I went home at around 4 PM.
Nitro was so glad to get home. He loves his own house and his own space. He sniffed his bed and went straight into it after I fed him.
we unpacked the food and mom stayed for a little while. She’s gone home now though. She gave me some leftover food to have tonight if I feel hungry.
I tried to exercise, but my treadmill is acting up and so I wasnt able to exercise for long. I’d say I did about 8 or 10 minutes on it. It wouldnt start up for me, mom got it going eventually but I think there is something wrong with the mechanics of it.
I’m just chilling out now, going to make myself a cup of coffee soon and read for a while, then later I’ll watch some tv.
