  1. Respect to me: It’s in my nature. It’s who I am. I was taught to respect others even when they don’t respect you. Respect to me is about having the decency to treat others the same way you want to be treated and for them to treat you like a human being not a five year old who doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Respect is earned it is not given.
    Thanks for sharing that link for that piece. It was beautiful. I loved it.


  2. It’s underestimated. A lot of people will expect things from others, such as kindness, generosity, and recognition – but respect features lower on the list than it should, in my opinion.
