IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I KNEW IT WOULDNT LAST, THIS FEELING OF CALM AND RELAXATION THAT I AM FEELING.
WE WENT TO BED AROUND 10 LAST NIGHT. AND MANAGED TO GO TO SLEEP, DESPITE HAVING SLEPT FOR 2 HOURS EARLIER IN THE EVENING.
I GUESS WE WERE SO EXHAUSTED THAT WE JUST FELL INTO A DEEP SLEEP. WE HAD TRIED STAYING UP AND GOING ONLINE BUT I LITERALLY WAS FALLING ASLEEP ON THE COMPUTER, LOL.
NOW ITS 2:30 AM AND I AM AWAKE. I WOKE WITH A TERRIBLE NIGHTMARE. I STARTLED AWAKE VERY SUDDENLY. I HATE THAT. IT LEFT ME FEELING ANXIOUS AND OVERWHELMED.
SO I MADE SOME TEA. I DRANK IT AND I MAY MAKE MORE. IM STILL NOT FEELING CALM.
I DID GET UP AND GO TO NITRO AND SNUGGLE HIM. HE WAS SO WARM AND VERY CUDDLY. HE LICKED ME AND NUDGED HIS NOSE INTO MY ARM AND WAS JUST BEING A VERY CUTE BOY.
HE LOVES US SO MUCH. WE LOVE HIM TOO.

      1. You CAN do it Liz maybe write some loving expressions on a post it near where you can see and read. like “I am here little one I will listen and calm your body so you can sleep” the critic may not like it and tell you you are being crazy but tell him or her or it to take a hike!!!

  1. So sorry you’re still struggling, Liz. Nightmares suck so terribly, I also had some last night, it’s total rubbish. It’s good you have Nitro though, hope you settled a bit and maybe got some more sleep.
