Disappointed no weight loss

hi guys

i am just back from slimming world…and its bad news.

no weight loss this week. in fact the opposite, a gain.

i was up 1.5 pounds. i’m not sure how it happened.

its very disappointing.

so its back to basics this week. drink a ton of water. eat a ton of fruit and vegetables. cut out bread. nothing sweet not even one thing.

i think where i fell down this past week was i ate a lot of bread. i was having up to four slices a day. i also didnt drink enough water. i also ate some chocolate. and surprisingly those wraps i had with the fajitas? they were worth 9 syns each. so yeah not very healthy. i didnt know though so i ate them.

i did walk a lot this week but it didnt matter, the food wasnt right so therefore i didnt lose anything.

feel bad but what can i do. whats done is done. just gotta start over for next week. i set a mini target of 2 pounds for next week, really hope I get it as I really want my 1 stone award!

  1. I don’t think you have to worry. I’ve lost 40lb in about 2 years. I’ve gone a month or more with no weight loss, sometimes a little gain. but then I started losing again. Not too fast though, I’ve only averaged a bit over 1.5lb a month. But it adds up. Keep at it, and don’t be too worried about one week’s gain/loss.

  2. Don’t worry about your weight. Focus on what you feel and how you feel. Trust me, my sister’s weight went up but she looked slimmer. Silly I know but she told me muscle weigh more than fat so you should go by weight all the time xxx

  3. You can do it! Iโ€™m also on a weight loss journey and I post every day with my weight updates as well as what I do for activity and eat. Last week and this week Iโ€™m doing intermittent fasting which is doing wonders for me! Drop a follow! Maybe we can help motivate each other! I also post a lot of stuff on my Instagram @imapineapplegettingfitxo

  4. Learning is part of the journey. You’re still doing great. Being in Canada where we don’t use stones as a unit of measurement, one stone=14 pounds seems just totally random.

  5. I’m with you there when it comes to the carbs and bread! Can’t get enough of it.
You have such the right attitude about it though, can’t dwell on the past just focus on the future.
    You’ve got this! ๐Ÿ™‚
