I’m sitting here
wondering in fear
is something wrong
cant get in touch
havent spoken to you much in weeks
when this sort of thing happens
its not a good sign
tried to call
tried to text
with no success
wondering, are you ok?
or is it just another day
in the life
of someone
in a psych residential facility?

wrote this because I am thinking about my partner tonight, i cant get through to her, lately. I’ve called and texted a number of times, she’s currently in a residential psych facility in the USA.
I hope she’s ok…hoping nothings wrong…

  1. Hopefully she is fine. Have you talked to her after she was admitted? I am just wondering because normally clients are not given access to personal phones. So you may have better luck if you call the hospital directly and ask to speak with her. Hoping you get in touch with her soon.

    1. Oh yes I have. she’s been there a while now. Its a long term residential facility. she has her own personal phone as well as she can use the pay phone. I just cant get in touch with her. xx

  2. I agree you should call the nurses station. Knowing what is going on will help. Must be hard to live so far away from the one you love. Did you tell more about her earlier on the blog, I would really like to know how you met somebody who is on the other side of the Atlantic?

  3. There must be something going on as I am going through something a bit similar. I know how distressing it is and in absence of contact your mind can run riot. Say a prayer if that suits you… do something nice for you.. a foot soak and massage to help you distress??? xoxo hugs
