Is green beer a thing in Ireland on St Patrick’s day, or is it something Americans just made up?

Its something americans just made up. I have never seen green beer sold here for patricks day. We dobt even turn our rivers green. xoxo

Where did the idea of leprecauns come from? (Hope I have spelt that right). Are they like nature spirits?

wow…not sure on this one! I think it came out of fairy folk, like years ago, when the irish people would tell stories, about fairies, they also included leprachauns. xoxo

I love that aspect of Ireland.. I hitchhiked the whole way around when I was 23.. in 1986….. which part do you live in?

What do you, the Irish, think about Northern Irish people? Do you perceive them much different from you in any way?

I dont. But some people do. Some people think there are huge differences between the northern half and southern half of ireland. And really there are a few, main one is that northern ireland is under british rule. xoxo

All I can tell you is shop around, are you looking to house share or live alone? If house sharing there is a good website http://www.daft.ie they have lots of property on there and you should be able to find something

I liv in cork, so no, but I do know rent in Dublin can be very high, so you’ll need to shop around to get a good deal.
