Beckie's Mental Mess

via Daily Prompt: Above

Image result for images of snow stormsAs the Northeastern settles above us,

the Wintery conditions, causing such a fuss,

school children dropped off early, a must.

A neighborhood buckle’s down,

as the winds churn around.

Large oak branches plummet to the ground…

Just missing cars, a thumping sound.

Garbage cans knocked over,

now slamming into the sides of a Range Rover.

Winds howling and tossing debris,

mixed with the snow;

can’t see too clearly.

The East Coast looks so damn dreary.

Hopefully, this weather will soon pass…

And, we’ll see the sun at last.

Until then we make hot cocoa,

and watch our favorite TV shows,

while the winds blow.
