an hour to go and storm emma will be upon us.

i’m watching the news. there is an extended news programme on tv. we’re set to have blizzard like conditions for the rest of this evening.

I really hope the power wont go out. I will be so bored if it does. I charged my phone so that’s completely charged up.

there are no buses and trains running. everything is shut down.

the whole country is on lock down. airports are closed also.

looks like i’ll be stuck here until sunday, because it said on the news that the snow wont melt until then. I hope i’ll have enough food.

  1. I hope all goes well and easily. We’re supposed to have kind of scary weather and I just cheerfully dissociate and stay indoors since things have been bad around here lately–bad external conditions that stress me out–noise, machines, etc. Oh well. Full moons seem to make me feel more lately.

  2. It’s always the worst when the power goes out. The hurricane before last (Hermine), we lost power for almost a week. It was hot and boring. Luckily, I have friends with gas grills and we cleared the meats out of our freezer and had a big BBQ. During the last hurricane (Irma) my folks lost power for over a week. Fortunately my dad was able to get a generator, and they pretty much used it to keep the fridge and TV going lol. Listening to the radio helps when the power goes out.

    Stay warm!
