chilling out saturday

so my friend decided she cant come over after all this afternoon.
oh well. that means i will just be able to chill for myself for the rest of the day. yay. who doesnt love chilling out?
i’m still in my pj’s. i have no intention of getting dressed either.
weekends are meant to just be nice to yourself and relax.
luckily i even have a back garden for nitro so i dont need to take him outside, i can open the door and let him do his thing for five or 10 mins and then call him back inside again.
i think i’ll read for a while. and watch irelands got talent later on this evening.
what are you all doing for your saturday?

  1. That sounds lovely! We’ve just done the supermarket run for the next weeks shopping and then played an hour and a half of tennis together! I’m absolutely knackered. So now it’s blogging … I haven’t done mine yet today, and watching the rugby. Tea and crumpets too! Yum!

      1. Yes, we’re currently on a posting in Glasgow which is cold and wet, but the people here are mega! We shop at Tesco’s mainly, although if I’m feeling poor it’ll be ASDA or Morrison’s! Where are you? ☀️☀️

      2. Crumpets are the best! I can hardly get them here in the US, and can’t be bothered to make them. There is a kind of English muffin, as we call them, that tastes a bit like it with butter and peanut butter and jam on, but then again anything would with that much stuff on it!

      3. I’d have to get it offline or dig up one of my old British cookbooks. I have a ton fo them somewhere from very long ago. I think Mrs. Beeton’s used to be famous 100 years ago and might have it–

  2. I am puttering around and working from home today. We may go out later for food, but may not bother. There’s plenty to eat here and my partner needs a nap. I am also not dressed to go out at all, and that is great with me. Warm sweatpants and long underwear do it for me.
