coffee morning

this morning we had a coffee morning, for past pupils of the ILS course. we baked scones and brownies and we had an awards ceremony too. some of the students were getting awards, one of the assessors came in and gave them out. it was nice. we all had a lot of fun. it lasted about 90 minutes. the brownies turned out good, and i also had a fruit scone which was delicious. four past pupils turned up. and then there were the six of us who are currently on the course as well. 2 of the current people on the course are leaving in two weeks though. they are graduating. 2 more are only here part time. so myself and one other student are the only ones who are here full time right now. i did enjoy the morning though. beats going to class 🙂

      1. I used to be a sugar addict, ran a sweets shop when I was about 18, ate a ton of chocolate all day and then didn’t want to eat good food, and was always depressed and moody and wondered why. Well, it was the sugar! I actually lost the taste for it, but not until I got much older. Now Istill like chocolate, but not the kind with a lot of sugar.

      2. The littles would get so many tummyaches, i bet. One of my friends littles is Timmy. He’s 5, one of the twins. Whenever he doesn’t want to go to work the next day, he gets what we call “timmytummy”, a bad stomach ache that they used to get to stay home from school. The poor thing really suffers, but we talk about having timmytummy and what he really wants to avoid. Since he’s five, he doesn’t want to have to do big people work all the time, so he tries to get his overworked big to stay home by having timmytummy.
