weekend team called

just got a call from maura from the weekend team. she asked me how i was.
i told her I am doing ok. I am managing. I am even feeling good after getting a good nights sleep.
She asked if I have support and I told her I went to my parents yesterday and stayed there last night.
she asked about meds, whether I had a prescription. I said I did.
It was a pretty basic check in. I didnt know her so I was hesitant to open up to her.
I just said I am ok, which is true, and I told her I’d follow up with dr. barry on wednesday.

    1. The Weekend Team are psychiatric team sort of crisis team that work weekends, the only reason I have them is because I just came out of hospital yesterday, normally you get referred by your psychiatrist if you need them, but they’re not a long-term solution, I do have a one-on-one therapist that I see weekly and I also have a psychiatrist to icy every two weeks

      1. Good. Sorry if I berated you on questions. 🙂 I am always curious when I see the weekend team if people have a one on one because that is the most important person you need, other than the doc, for meds.
I hope you feel better real soon. Also, a tremendous support system is on WordPress themselves. We are a very strong community that helps each other out through thick & thin too. 🙂

      2. We are following one another. 🙂 I have a whole bunch of stuff too. Bipolar, Anxiety/Panic, OCD, PTSD, and insomnia. “Fun times” LOL!
I just love the community here and the support that is shared amongst us all.
So happy that you are sharing the fact that you have contact with a team, plus the others. You certainly need all the support you can get. I mean that in a good way. 🙂
