christmas eve wishes to all

so like i said last night, i’m chilling out today.

i have been doing a lot of self care things. and really am enjoying that.

i had a long soak in a bubble bath. then i put on my bath and body works warm vanilla sugar body lotion that one of my ffriends gave me for christmas. it smells so good.

i watched home alone, and a couple of other little bits on tv, specials, and i listened to a radio show on our local radio station that featured kids. the kids were so precious talking about what they wanted from santa. the presenter asked one child how many miles they thought santa did on christmas eve, and he said 15, lol. how sweet and cute.

our littles do not believe in santa, they believe in the christmas fairy instead, santa is a trigger for them because some of our abuse involved programming and santa was used to punish or frighten them. so we say the christmas fairy is coming instead, its a thing me and my partner jess started a few years back when i was visiting one year.

all the presents are now wrapped. there is a lot of excitement in our system. i keep telling the kids bed early tonight, they are asking me if they can stay awake so they can meet the fairy.

i’ve been eating lots of yummy food too today. a little chocolate, only a little, I had lovely lamb chops for dinner, and a slice of my christmas cake after that.

i’m stuffed now lol. but i feel good.

i want to wish you all a very merry christmas, i hope whatever you do you have a fun filled day tomorrow, I hope your day is filled with love, joy, happiness, and most of all I hope you have someone special to share it with.

i love all of you my readers so much. i appreciate that you come here and take the time to read my our blog every day. it means the world to us. we’d be lost without our wordpress family. so thank you. thanks from all of us in many of us system..

  2. Well, merry Christmas to all thousand of you. (grin) I figure that should cover everybody. I haven’t had lamb in quite a while as turkey or ham tends to be most popular for Christmas around here. I bet the kids are jumping up and down, if that’s possible inside. I bet Darina is leading the pack about longing for Christmas goodies. Did Jess ever get her tablet?

    1. There is great excitement here this morning, the kids are excited Lee opening presents. Yes, just got her iPhone, she is delighted with it and we have talked for three hours last night and will talk for probably another three hours today. Merry Christmas Deb, we are having turkey and ham today to for Christmas dinner

  3. My friend is coming to pick me up later this afternoon, and I think we may be having chicken instead of turkey this time round. I don’t know if there will be stuffing, but I’m sure of lots of veggies. Tell Liz not to be a naughty kid sister listening in on her siblings conversations! I’m glad Jess got her phone as I’m sure that cuts down on long distance costs. xxx

  6. I did have a nice time. We had chicken, roast beef, fresh vegetable sallad, corn, Spanish rice, Brussel sprouts garlic bread, apple pie, molasses cookies, ranger cookies, pecan sandy cookies, chocolate chip cookies. I got to hug on my friend’s two big dogs, Ralphie and Rosie. We had a good time just sitting around and laughing and talking. Someone mentioned, after we had been being silly for quite a while that nobody was even drinking! That suited me just fine.
