No sleep last night

so i never slept last night. its so frustrating. i sleep well for a day or two, then its like no matter what i do i cant fall asleep. i napped yesterday evening, so that probably didnt help any. and to think yesterday on our way back from the gym i fell asleep in the bus for about 5 minutes. its not that i am not tired. i am exhausted. the week is so busy that i barely have time to fit everything in my schedule. anyway. when i wasnt sleeping i was on whats app with a did friend. we chatted for two hours. it was so nice. she’s been my friend for the last 3 years. she is a social worker by profession but due to having her did and being unable to cope in a work setting she’s on disability now. we can literally talk for hours. she has an daughter with aspergers who she fostered and then went on to adopt. so yeah. i did sleep for about 2 hours this morning after getting off the phone with my friend. 2 hours is better than no hours i guess.

  1. I’m also glad you got at least a bit of sleep, but I’m sorry that it was so little. It’s the more terrible, that you are tired after the day so you need sleep. That’s really awful.

  2. I’ve had insomnia ever since I can remember myself, because of my overactive mind. I have a sport watch that monitors my heart rate, and I practiced slowing it, and it helped with falling asleep some. Even the sleeping pills I started using don’t make the problem disappear completely. Tried hypnosis. No use. I walk like I’m underwater and feel like a zombie.
