Poetry

memories choke
pain they evoke
pain everywhere
do I dare?
tiptoe along
try not to utter a sound
You dont want to be found
but bang, crash
your right there
pulled, sucked in
a vortex of swirls
all colors
blind you
as you tread water
trying to escape
but there is no escape
never an escape
you are sinking fast
sinking, sinking
into the past
will this ever end?
