College work

I need to get my ass in gear and do some college work this morning. I am procrastinating. Somebody tell me that I need to start :-), otherwise I won’t. Really have to get my ass in gear this morning at some point and try to do a bit of work I’m letting it all builds up and that’s not good.
I know I put a lot of pressure on myself to succeed. I shouldn’t do that either.

Oh the joys 🙂

  1. Get started! When I’m procrastinating I find that dividing the work up into lots of little tasks and giving yourself permission to do even just one task is helpful. Often once you get started you’ll keep going and do more than you think. The other thing that is helpful is to make one of the tasks just setting up ready to go so that next time you do a bit you can jump straight in without having to waste time getting everything together.

  2. I know it well, I also tend to procrastnate especially with things I need to do for school, but it’s probably just because at the stage at which I am now I just considr them boring, things will probably change when (or if actually) I’ll go to uni. I think the most difficult thing at this moment when you’re really like drowned in procrastination is just to start. When you start, it most often goes pretty easily and quickly. SO just get some motivation to start and you’ll probably feel like if someone did the rest for you, so quickly will it go. Especially if you love what you study.
